One of the major goals to be accomplished in the expansion
and renovation of the Latin School of Chicago was to expand where possible
classroom size and provide furnishings more suited to today's teaching
methods. Lively colors, similar to those used in everyday school materials,

The lower school cafeteria was targeted not only for expansion
but to create a bright, multi-purpose space for special projects within
the school curriculum, as well as provide for adult education classes.
Furnishings were sized to accomodate both groups, reconfigured according
to their needs. |
