The Lobby of the Evanston Public Library expresses many of the special artworks the design team was pleased to commision due to JHA's ability to deliver the project 25% under budget, thus enabling these monies to be spent to further enhance the building.

The Evanston Public Library has received excellent reviews for both design and function of this new building, particularly from the Evanston community, who have increased their visits by over thirty percent. It has also been featured in a number of architectural publications.
